Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital Portraits - Ad Campaign
If you have known anyone in the heartland who has had a serious spinal or brain injury, you have likely heard of Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital. Over the past two years I have had the privilege of working with Molly Nance and her team on several projects. This year they wanted a campaign that told the stories of their incredible patients who they have helped rebuild their lives. We had a photo shoot on location in Pioneer’s Park in Lincoln Nebraska. I want to thank Thought District and art director Ed Mejia as well as Stylist/Makeup artist Angie Carraher. We had a great crew to pu;; of this shoot. The results are below.

A talented landscape photographer once told me the only difference between his photos and the average person is that he got up at 3 a.m. -- slight oversimplification however point well taken. For the architectural exterior photo below I did need to get up about 4:30 a.m. to set up before the sun rose a little before 6 a.m. (need time for coffee to take effect).
